Our journey began with a shared love for history and abandoned places. We also have a desire to restore our own piece of the past. We wanted to create a home that reflects our values and memories, while also sharing our experiences with others.

We select locations based on their historical significance and personal connection. Each place has a story, and we aim to uncover the narratives behind forgotten homes, farms and towns, bringing them back to life through our adventures.

Our dog is an integral part of our journey, adding joy and companionship. She explores alongside us most always and is a family member but she is now 14 years old, reminding us to appreciate the simple moments and the beauty of nature as we wander through Kansas’s landscapes.
